Western New York Coaster Club was founded by some people who
were passionate about roller coasters. We have promoted the
love of coasters since 1982. Our members come from all over
the United States and Canada.
WNYCC is run by a Planning Committee. We purposely do not have a President,
Vice President, etc. to avoid elections decided by a popularity contest or cliques.
The Planning Committee is open to anyone who has been a member in good standing
for at least six months. Service Positions (Treasurer, Secretary, etc.)
are filled by qualified volunteers within the Planning Committee who are chosen
by lot at our first meeting of the year. The Planning Committee meeting when service
positions and event dates and locations are determined for the year will be held
during the month of February each year. Planning Committee meetings are never
closed-door sessions. Any WNYCC member choosing not to be on the Committee
is invited to attend but cannot vote. If you cannot attend any Planning Committee
meeting but would like to express your opinions or ideas in writing,
please contact wnyccmembr@aol.com.
